It's been a long time since I updated my journal. I have also been 'kind of' absent on this site, with the exception of submitting a few deviations and collecting many beautiful pieces of artwork!
While life has been busier than usual, I managed to photograph moments of this past summer. Family picnics at the beach have been wonderful. I always felt at home when I am by the ocean. It is my serene paradise! As much as I love the beach, I also am in my element when Autumn presents its return. I call it my "Soul Season." I feel such peace this time of year. Perhaps it's because I was born in October.. whatever the reason, Autumn takes me to a peaceful place, just as the ocean brings the same feeling.
As I have been capturing different moments these last few months, I also have been working on a photography project with some family members. We call it our "Avant Garde Project." I'll submit some of the images we've taken thus far, mostly practice runs with make-up. My daughter is a makeup artist and has been doing a phenomenal job with our model! I'm excited to see it all come together and share this all with you once it is all completed!
I would like to take this time to thank all who have collected and commented on my work. I truly am so deeply appreciative.

Please continue to check back and leave feedback when you can. Many more images yet to be submitted!
